Qualified for the Cup, the FCG Espoirs finally finish seventh in the qualifying tournament of the Pro Espoirs Sevens in Marcoussis.
Beaten in quarter by Oyonnax (5-21), the Grenoblois were then beaten by La Rochelle (15-21) and won against Vannes (29-14) to finish seventh.
They will play the final phase of this tournament next weekend in Albi.
