"The Top 14 second leg will be in April"

Stéphane Glas before FCG-Agen: he talks about this duel against a competitor in the Top 14 and the return to the field of Gervais Cordin

The objective of this match

"There's always an interest in playing these games. Qualification, for the time being, is not something we're talking about. We just want to have a good game, to see some players again, to produce a good rugby. It's as simple as that for tomorrow. »

Compete against Agen in another competition

"We're not hiding anything. Anyway, the second leg against Agen is in April. We had two minutes to think about this game in the Top 14. Once again, this game is really about focusing on our content, what we need to improve, seeing players who have had less playing time in recent weeks, for different reasons. That is the main objective for us. But it's also about winning, because you also play a rugby match, you want to beat them. But, as far as playing the maintenance with them in the league, for the time being, on that game, it doesn't count. »

The come-bakc of Gervais Cordin

"It was a serious wound, the ACL. The unavailability for a player is between six to eight months. I think he was looking forward to getting back into the field. He worked hard to get back. I think he's fine in training. It was also a good time, without having a game with too much pressure, to give him a little bit of playing time. Tomorrow, he's on the bench but he'll come in in the second half. It's a young player who had shown all his qualities last year, when he started with us, who was suddenly stopped, unfortunately for him, who could not make the end of the season with us. But here it is, I think that on the training sessions, he's good. We'll see how it goes tomorrow. We shouldn't be too impatient with him either. It was still a long recovery. We'll see the conditions under which we play, whether he'll have a chance to express himself a little. It's already a good first game. And then we'll give him time to come back quietly. Tomorrow, he will be with us. Next week, we'll also bring him back with us to Agen, maybe he'll start the game to give him a little more playing time. Let him start to regain his confidence and then slowly enter the group. »
