Pablo Uberti gives his thoughts on the begining of the Pro D2 and the game of Grenoble in Soyaux-Angoulême
You're back on the team after a week of forced rest.
"Yeah, it was definitely a bit frustrating for me. Because I couldn't finish the games. So it's true that right now, I'm happy to be back. Especially since it's going to be a real challenge for us, for the whole team. Yeah, very happy. »
Soyaux-Angouleme, is this a test for the FCG?
"Of course. For sure, for the moment, we have been able to do some performances and, also, we have missed out some games. Against a team of that level, it will be a real test to know if we have the mentality to confirm the good things we have done before. »
You will be travelling as a Pro D2 leader. Will you get extra pressure?
"Yeah, that's right. Leaders. But not necessarily favorites. Although, there is no pressure on our shoulders. Sure, we want to keep our position. Now, it's not going to be done, just like that. For sure, for us, it will be a real test. »
What progress must the FCG make to improve?
"We are already satisfied with the reaction we were able to get after Colomiers. By going out for two wins away. Now, I think we're missing a little bit of mentality over the last 15 minutes. We dropped the game in Mont-de-Marsan. And I think, that's it, we're a little out of mind. And, also, we need to keep our heads on our shoulders. Even if we come from the Top 14, every game, everything is played every weekend on the games. And there is not necessarily a favourite, no favourite.... »
Is the end of the game to watch?
"Yes, that's it, as I say, it's kind of our black spot this year. To give up the games a little bit. That is unfortunate, because we could have gotten ahead of our direct competitors. What you have to correct is this. It usually happens in the head. The end of the games.... You have to be able to stay in the system. It's in the head that it happens. I think that's what we have to work on to eliminate this black spot. »
