FCG lost in Angoulême (9-3)
In a late game of the ninth day of Pro D2, FCG lost to Soyaux-Angoulême (9-3). A defeat, the fourth in a row, which will darken the holidays on the side of the "Red & Blue".
As often in recent months, the Grenoble players never really managed to impose their game and saw their opponents take the score, by the accuracy of their striker(s), and, especially, the indiscipline of the Isèrois.
Leading 6-3 at the break, the Grenoble players were only too rarely dangerous in the second half to turn the scoreline around. It was not until the final minutes of the match that they were forced to wait until they were in the 22-team field. To no avail.
After a few days of rest, the FCG will return to the competition in early January, with a trip to Oyonnax, then the reception of... Soyaux-Angoulême at the Stade des Alpes.
