“Our performance is unacceptable”

Bernard Jackman: “Our performance is unacceptable. It was catastrophic. In our game project, we need tough players in contact and disciplined. There, it was quite the opposite. We were too undisciplined: you cannot win with two yellow cards and making as many mistakes. I shall draw the consequences. We're better than that. But it was our level tonight. It has to be better next week. We have 7 days to prepare for this match of La Rochelle.”

Armand Batlle: “We had worked well during the preparation. We couldnt wait to start the championship, but it was completely missed. I think we lost this game in the first half: the gap was too great. And our discipline has been lacking. We were not aggressive enough in defence.These are small details that do not pass in the league.”

Gilles Bosch: “A good slap. We were behind them for 80 minutes in the tackle, the contact areas. We made too many mistakes. This does not forgive. The attitude has to change: on Monday, we'll get back to work, prepare La Rochelle. We must not question everything, but we must correct the impacts, duels, and aggressiveness. And not make fouls.”
