La Rochelle has conceded a draw at home against Clermont.
The FCG will play his first game on Saturday at the Stade des Alpes facing the Stade Rochelais. Les Charentais, which notably recruited Brock James and Victor Vito, played two friendlies before beginning the Top 14 against Clermont.
The Rochelais won their two matches of preparation. The first was won against Brive at Stade Marcel-Deflandre, with a score of 12 to 5. The Jaune & Noir then beat Bordeaux with a score of 23-14.
In their first game in the Top 14, the Stade Rochelais drawn against Clermont (30-30). Trailing 24-10 just before the break, la Rochelle came back to score through a penalty try after the siren, then a try of Januarie. The two teams then lined up the penalties to finish at 30 to 30.
With this tie, la Rochelle ranks seventh in the standings.
