"It is a marathon"

  • Jonathan Wisniewski

The captain of the FCG, Jonathan Wisniewski, sweeps the doubts to his team: les "Rouge & Bleu" are only at the beginning of the season.

The pressure

"This is not something that comes to mind. Of course, we know we have started bad. But what matters in these seasons is to finish well. We know that there are tough times in a year. This happens very early. But we still have time to rectify."

The offseason

"There are many things that changed this summer and we need a little time to assimilate a new organization, delve into it. We're trying to find our bearings. We know that this championship is hard, complicated, but we must not forget that this is still a marathon. This marathon, it was the first one or two kilometers; it remains enormously."

The derby in Lyon

"I think it's not time to panic, but we must have the desire to react, on Saturday in Lyon. It is they who will have the pressure, as they receive. We will need to go with a lot of desire, enthusiasm, continue to reassure ourselves. Hoping we will not have 14 points which we are denied every weekend. We will not do the little gifts we could have make the last weekend."

Summer fitness training

"The prep was hard. We said from the beginning. But at some point, when we made enormous efforts, we will finally get the rewards. Today, it is still too early to make an assessment. We'll do it at the eighth, ninth round. We'll see what to keep, what to remove. The only thing now is to give everything. This preparation will help us at a time, for sure. When you work very hard, you are invested, when you have sown much, you can only reap much. I am convinced that the preparation that was made will have a beneficial effect, we will be able to generate a positive series that will allow us to switch in an ultra-positive season."
