The last game between the FCG and CA Brive had a special character.
This match, played in March 2016, was the first played after the death of Serge Kampf, a friend of the FCG. A tribute was paid to him on the day of the match: minute of applause, speech by President Chérèque, black jersey.
On the field, the game was tight: Grenoble marks the first try by Steven Setephano. After several penalties of Gaetan Germain, Gio Aplon on interception, allows FCG to take off the score. The rest of the game came down to a big fight between the players and a big duel between the two clubs scorers.
