Shortly before halftime of the match between FC Grenoble Rugby CA Brive and, following a scrum, a fight broke out between the players.
FC Grenoble Rugby wishes to express his apologies to fans and viewers of the match. The images seen on the field of the Stade des Alpes do not correspond to the image of rugby that FC Grenoble Rugby, its officers, its staff and its players want to show.
Both players excluded, Sona Taumalolo and Nigel Hunt, were keen to react after the game: "We present our apologies to our teammates and to all supporters of the FCG. We thank and congratulate all the players who were able to win the match despite our red cards."
FC Grenoble Rugby warmly thanked his supporters for their support to the players throughout the match and made noise as if the Stade des Alpes was full.
