Emeline Gros scored three tries in the last game of the Amazones in Rouen.
Her career
"I have started rugby at 16 with my school in St Jean de Maurienne. Then I was detected and integrated at the Monge School of Chambéry in which there is a section on development of women's rugby. At 18, I joined the club RS, who later became Amazons FCG. For 5 years I have practiced rugby, I joined the selection of the Alps and was selected in the France U20 team."
The beginning of the season
"We do not know all our opponent, there are new players, new projects. Actually, it fears that the most is us and our game. We form a good group. One should not take the other top teams, we must remain ourselves and play the game we learned. We have made a great start to the season, must keep our momentum and if we continue like this we certainly will go far this year. This is certainly what I hope. "
Her hat-trick in Rouen
"I'm glad to have registered these tries but I'm not there to "throw flowers to myself" by saying I'm the best. These are collective tries, that came from rucks, we made passes. Everyone did her job on the field and I'm just here to finish. I have no particular merit. I am very proud of my friends, my team, the important thing is the group, not my little person."
Her ambition
"I'd like in a few years to integrate the France team. That's a lot of work and many sacrifices. "
