FCG face the Welsh Ospreys Thursday night at the Stade des Alpes for the third round of the Challenge Cup.
The Ospreys have won the Celtic League four times and are the best Welsh province since the system was introduced in 2003. This season is the first time they have failed to qualify for the Champions Cup Cup).
In its squad, the Welsh club has many international leeks. Alun Wyn Jones, Captain of the Ospreys and Wales, who participated in two Lions tours, is part of the Ospreys squad. With Bradley Davies, he is part of the selection, as are Dan Lydiate, Rhys Webb and Dan Biggar.
Eighth of the Pro 12 last season, the Ospreys have regained their rank at the beginning of the season, currently occupying the 3rd place of this competition, 1 point of the leaders. The Welsh conceded only three defeats on the lawns of Leinster (31-19), Ulster (9-7) and Munster (33-0). In the Challenge Cup, the Ospreys signed two victories in two games: the Falcons of Newcastle (45-0) and Lyon (13-31)
On the Grenoble side, the sports team will rely on the players little used this season and on the young to try to regain the victory.
The match between the FCG and the Ospreys will kick off at 8.45pm on Thursday.
