FC Grenoble Rugby learned that three of its players were charged as a result of the criminal investigation which was opened on 12 March.
Without prejudging the judicial decisions which will be definitively taken, the Club has decided to call them to a preliminary interview with a view to a possible early termination of their contract and to lay them off as a precautionary measure.
FC Grenoble Rugby states that this decision was made in light of the professional obligations of the players and does not prejudge their presumption of innocence.
Moreover, FC Grenoble Rugby has also mandated its council to become a civil party in the proceedings.
