The championship will start on August 18 in Dax
The FCG now knows its calendar for the 2017-2018 season. If we already knew that the season would start on August 18, we did not know if the first match of the championship would take place in Grenoble or elsewhere. It will finally be in Dax that the "Red & Blue" will make their first meeting of Pro D2, where they will find Romain David, in particular.
The first opposition at the Stade des Alpes will take place the following weekend, against the promoted Massy. The FCG will then play a second consecutive home game, against Mont-de-Marsan (where notably Thibaud Rey, trained in Grenoble)
The first big shock of the season will be in Bayonne, the weekend of September 22, against the other relegated from Top 14. The return game will take place on the weekend of December 22 at the Stade des Alpes.
The Grenoble will finish the regular phase on April 13, with a trip to Soyeux-Angoulême, before, it is hoped, to start the final stages in April and May.
