Latu Talakai and Leva Fifita as Medical Jokers at the Club
Latu Talakai and Leva Fifita, two Tongan internationals respectively supply Alexandre Dardet and Mickaël Capelli until their recovery.
The two 28-year-old players played on the Waikato team in the New Zealand championship, the former team of Steven Setephano.
Latu Talaki (1.93m, 128kg) plays a loosehead prop. He won the U20 World Cup with the New Zealand team in 2009. He then got his first selections with Tonga this summer, participating in the last tour in Europe.
"It's an honor to be here. I just want to help the team continue what they have been doing since the beginning of the season and try to help rebuild the club and help them get back into the Top 14, "he explained.
Leva Fifita (1.95m, 120kg) evolves as a lock. He also started his international career this summer with the Tonga team. He scored one of the tries of the victory of his national team in Romania at the end of November.
"I was very well received by the club staff and management. I'm going to have to get used to the cold, but I can not wait to be able to put on my crampons and play for the FCG, "said the player.
Both Tongans are likely to participate in the club's next games.
