FC Grenoble Rugby has the pain to announce the death of one of his former players, Gino Barbiero.
Born in Noale, Italy on September 1, 1930, he emigrated to France at the age of 18. He began rugby, in parallel with his job as a mason, then welder. He joined Grenoble and the FCG in the mid-50s. He won the title of champion of France Reserve in 1960. He will then coach and play in various clubs in the Grenoble area: Jarrie, Vinay, the GUC and the Catalans.
His funeral will be celebrated Monday at 10am at PFI Grenoble.
We have a thought for Elisabeth, his wife, his son, his family and his relatives.
