The former Chambéry skipper will play for the FCG next season
It is almost a homecoming for Steeve Blanc-Mappaz: after a year in Vannes, the Savoyard will be back in the Alps next season, since he has engaged with the FCG.
The 27-year-old flanker started rugby at Aiton, then Montmélian, before playing for Chambéry, where he played in Fédérale 1 and, in particular, the victory of the Jean Prat Trophy in 2016. He managed, with success, the transition to the professional level this year, being one of the key players of RC Vannes.
"I'm really happy to join the FCG. For me, who am from the region, it is really something good for me. I'm going to try to do my best with Club and with the group to go as far as possible, "he told FCGRUGBY.com when he signed up with the "Rouge & Bleu "
