Franck Pourteau to Grenoble till the end of the season
To compensate for the loss of Clément Gelin until the end of the season, the FCG recruited Franck Pourteau, from Racing 92, as a medical joker.
Franck Pourteau (21) started rugby in the Basque Country, at ES Arudyenne, before joining Stade Toulousain's Academy at the age of 15. He left the "Rouge & Noir" in 2016, to join the Racing 92. With the Ile-de-France Club, he won the French Championship Elite 2 Espoirs in 2017, with Loïc Godener and Pierre Maïau. Last season, he also had two Top 14 starts and a few minutes in Champions Cup with the "Ciel & Blanc".
"By joining Grenoble, I hope to get professional playing time. I want to take this opportunity to bring what I can to the team and why not try to go higher with this Club, "he told FCGRUGBY.com.
Trained as fly-half, Franck Pourteau can also play as full-back, or even in the center. He is also the kicker of the Racing Espoirs.
Arrived last week in Grenoble, he should apply for the reception of Dax Friday, March 2
