Ropate Rinakama has been hired as a medical joker to replace Beka Gigashvili
Injured for several months, Beka Gigashvili will be replaced until the end of the season by Ropate Rinakama. Fijian international, this 30-year-old tighthead prop will know his first European experience in Grenoble and help the FCG achieve its goals.
Passed by the New Zealand championship, where he played for North Harbor (two seasons), and Northland (2017 championship), his performances with the semi-finalists of the Premiership Division caught the attention of John McKee. The Fijian coach selected him for the November tour, during which Ropate Rinakama faced Italy and Canada.
Ropate Rinakama said: "I am very happy to be here in Grenoble. I will try to do my best for the team, to help them reach the finals and get back to the the Top 14. I just want to do my job and be able to play the best rugby possible here in France. "
