Presentation made on the Belle Electrique stage
On Tuesday, September 4, more than 750 season ticket holeders and partners gathered at the invitation of the Club at la Belle Electrique for the presentation of the Grenoble team.
To begin this evening, Franck Corrihons, Director of Rugby Development, and Daniel Jennepin, President of the FCG Association, quickly presented the work of the Grenoble academy, while saluting the work of the association's educators, volunteers and employees, represented by nearly 50 people on the Belle Electrique stage.
Michel Martinez, President of the FCG, then addressed the fans to thank them for their support last season, from the "regulars of the handrail, present every day in Lesdiguières" to the groups and associations of the Mammoths, Alpines and Captains FCG. He also presented the short term "maintien! "and long term objectives of the Club.
Dewald Senekal and Stéphane Glas then took the microphone to introduce their staff, including Jean-Noël Perrin, the new coach of the Grenoble scrum, and all the players in the FCG squad. With a focus, tinged with humour and self-derision, on the new recruits.
The evening ended with a moment of exchanges, unfortunately too short, between players and supporters. With a next meeting on Sunday, for Pau's reception at the Stade des Alpes!
