The player from the FCG Academy signed up for two additional seasons
Mickaël Capelli has extended his contract with the FCG. He is now linked to the "Rouge & Bleu" club until June 2021.
French International U20, the lock, issued from the Club Academy, who started rugby with the RCCN, played its first minutes in the Top 14 in June 2016. He then regularly completed a series of games the following season. In Pro D2, the staff often calls on him, even if the injuries slow down his ascent. He took the opportunity to score his first professional try during the Béziers reception.
Deprived of playing time since the Club's return to the Top 14 due to an injury (2 matches), the 21-year-old player wants to continue and confirm the hopes placed in him.
Mickaël Capelli explained his choice to continue in Isère: "I think I have the opportunity to progress here. I have the confidence of the staff, I trust this staff, in the club's project. I need to play to progress. There are superb working conditions in Grenoble. I don't see why I shouldn't continue! »
