In a match between two competitors in the Top 14, FCG and Agen had a close duel at the Stade des Alpes.
The "Rouge & Bleu" started the game well and achieved a superb action concluded under the posts by Mickaël Capelli (28-0, 28')
At the end of the first half, Théo Nanette broke away from a ruck to score a second attempt for the FCG (12-0, 35'). Unfortunately, Agen reduced the score on the siren (12-5, 40').
The Agenais started strong in the second half and quickly recovered their lead (12-10, 47'), before equalising (15-15, 63')
The Grenoble team, again after a long and perfectly built action, went ahead again with a try at the end of the line by Alexandre Dardet (22-15, 67')
The FCG players will try to get a fourth try for the bonus, in vain. Grenoble is therefore at the top of Group 5, before the match between the Harlequins and Benetton Trevise on Sunday.
