Matt Va'ai signed a six-months contract with the FCG
FC Grenoble Rugby has recruited Matt Va'ai as an additional player until the end of the season. The New Zealander competed in the 2018 Mitre 10 Cup with the Counties Manukau.
Born in Auckland, Matt Va'ai (1.94m, 122kg) can play in flanker or number 8 position, where he will provide an additional solution to the staff, in the absence of Loïc Godener.
Matt Va'ai said after signing his contract: "I will try to bring the best to the team. I'm going to work hard for the team. I am very happy and excited to be joining Grenoble and I want to succeed in the Top 14. "
Not available for Challenge Cup matches, he will be able to play his first match in " Rouge & Bleu " in Toulouse for the 15th round of the Top 14.
