"The beginning of a long serie, I hope"

You will play your first Top 14 game tomorrow.

"It will be my first start in Top 14. I am very happy to come into the group. I will give my best. I will give everything. We know it is hard to play in Clermont, but we want to show what we are capable of."

What does this first game mean to you?

"The beginning of a long serie, I hope. It is not an end. For me, it is just the beginning. And I hope to continue long after that."

And the fact that this first game will be in Clermont?

"Clermont ? It's pretty… It is a very good team to play. It is going to be complicated. It is a gift, but a gift that is hard to receive. But I take everything I can."

Are you and your teamates afraid to played there?

"There is a little pressure, obviously. But it should not be a negative one. WE have to be a little scared before the game. But, one the referee whistles the kick-off, we have to relax and just play rugby."

What do you want to show during this game?

"I want to show my strengths. Try to respect the game plan, be clean in line-outs, scrums. And defend the best I can."

The defense, is is something that the coachs are expecting a lot from the team?

"Most team received a 'tabaz' there. So we work a lot on the defense this week. But, after all, it is mainly communication. Defense, it is a collective thing: communicate, press together, be low, make them fall. We know how powerful they are. So we must play and defend together."
