The rugby school's young rugby players once again won the overall challenge of the tournament, with the M8 second, M10 first and M12 sixth.
Crabos
The Isère team met the formidable Bordeaux team for the 1/4 final. The "Rouge & Bleu" were able to impose their game in the first half and dig a slight lead at the break, 13-7 in the 40'. The 2nd period was Grenoble, with 2 tries (against 1 for Bègles), the alpine riders widened the gap and obtained the place in the 1/2 final of the French Carbos Elite championship, final score 25-14.
Amazons Fed. 2
The Isère women gave their opponent no chance: the undefeated pink rockets of the Stade Français. The Amazons returned to the dressing room at half-time with a comfortable lead, half-time score 22-7. The challenge of the 2nd period being to maintain this lead, the Grenoble women scored again in the 60', 29-7. In a final effort, the Parisian women managed to score a try a few minutes before the end, 77' 29-12 (final score). The Fed.2 Amazons are French champions and leave Tarbes with their heads held high, an extra shield!
First team first
Despite dominance (in terms of possession, occupation and even crossing), the Izeros did not manage to score in the end zone. On two occasions the Grenoble team crossed the line without success (final score: 22-0).
On June 2, the team will play its Top 14 maintenance at a play-off against the loser in the Pro D2 final.
