Once again, FC GRENOBLE RUGBY noted the invasion of the grassy grounds of the Bachelard complex by several dozen vehicles and caravans, making it impossible to play rugby in this area. It is a state of affairs that the club and the 500 members of the club are suffering for an indefinite period of time; a consequence of the occupation and degradation of the land, forcing the city of Grenoble to postpone the annual refurbishment.
This unexpected event forced the club to move part of the matches of the traditional Georges ALBERTO tournament scheduled for Sunday, June 2. This tournament brings together nearly 1000 children, initially divided between the Lesdiguières stadium (M8 and M10) and the Bachelard complex (M12).
For Sunday, June 2, 2019, the meetings are distributed as follows:
Categories under 8 and under 10 years of age remain on the grounds of the Lesdiguières stadium, Grenoble
The under-12s are welcomed by Seyssins at the Beauvallet stadium.
The City of Seyssins and the Rugby Club of Seyssins (which after hosting their tournament with 1000 children last weekend), will allow M12 players from the 24 clubs present this Sunday to play rugby in good conditions.
FC Grenoble Rugby warmly thanks the services of this partner city, the "friendly club" of RC Seyssins and its volunteers for their reactivity and support, as well as all the members of the FCG association and the parents of the players for their adaptability. This solidarity makes it possible to maintain this major sporting and festive event in Grenoble.
We invite you to come and attend these meetings this Sunday, June 2 at the Lesdiguières stadium in Grenoble for those under 8 and under 10 years old and at the Beauvallet stadium in Seyssins for those under 12 years old: free admission, refreshments and food on site.
