The "Rouge & Bleu" have completed their pre-season training camp, a few days before their first preparation match
The heat wave is raging all over France, but the calendar has done things right, since the Grenoble staff had planned their pre-season training camp, in altitude, in Val d'Isère. The Savoyard resort, which hosted the Grenoble players last season, offered much milder temperatures between Sunday evening and Thursday morning.
The "Rouge & Bleu" carried out 3 training sessions during each of the 3 days of this camp (weight training, rugby, physical sessions) and the video sessions. This camp was also an opportunity to integrate young and new players, a integration based on songs, wages and costumes.
Before completing this journey in Val d'Isère, the Grenoble players climbed to the Bellevarde rock at an altitude of 2800 metres to carry out a particularly demanding physical session: they went through intense efforts running, on bicycles or rowers, with boxing gloves...
Back in Grenoble on Thursday morning, the FCG players will have a few days off, before resuming training on Monday in Lesdiguières and preparing for the first of two pre-season matches against the LOU in Bourgoin next Friday.
