The FCG was saddened to learn of the death of one of its former players and former Secretary General, Guy Dallut.
Born in the Ain region in 1933, Guy Dallut has had a very rich sporting career. A player and leader of the FCG, he was "a very good general secretary" of the Club between 1960 and 1972. He has also worked for the FFR and the Manoir Committee, as well as for the Organising Committee of the 1968 Grenoble, Innsbruck, Munich, Barcelona, Sarajevo, Albertville and Turin Olympic Games, and for the OMS of Grenoble, of which he was President for many years.
His professional career has been similarly burdensome: Guy Dallut has worked as an insurance agent, quickly becoming National President of Insurance Agents, and then National President of Insurance Pensioners. He has also worked as a volunteer judicial auxiliary at the Grenoble District Court as a Conciliating Mediator.
The funeral will take place on Monday 29 July at 9am in the Saint-Jean church (boulevard Vallier in Grenoble).
FC Grenoble Rugby extends its sincere condolences to Guy Dallut's family and friends.
