Start of the second bloc
The Grenoble team will return to competition on Thursday for the fifth day of the Top 14, where they will travel to Mont-de-Marsan. Accustomed to the final stages (qualified for the last five seasons), Stade Montois has had a complicated start to the season (15th, with only one win). The people of Montois, who lost their head coach this summer, Christophe Laussucq, who moved to Agen, must rebuild after the departure of several of their players, such as former Grenoble native Walter Desmaison, wingers JJ Taulagi and Dorian Laborde, and Laurence Pearce.
To compensate for these departures, the club from Montpellier called on two former FCG members: Teiva Jacquelain, who was injured and has not yet been able to wear the yellow and black jersey, and Clément Gelin. The latter, who participated in the first four matches of the championship (2 starts)
Heavily beaten by Provence Rugby at home on the first day (12-42), Stade Montois has been dragging this defeat since the beginning of the championship. He will try not to suffer a second one in his Boniface den on Thursday against the FCG.
