In two games, Raymond Rhule joins with Alaska Taufa as the best try-scorer of the Club
Two braces in the last two games. Are you in good shape?
"I was lucky. The team is playing very good rugby right now. It's easy to fit this team and feel good about it. It's good for wingers. I am happy. Since I've been in Grenoble, it's been hard finding rhythm. The first season was tough. In the Top 14, we played much more a forward game. This year, in Pro D2, it's much more open, the backs are more involved. It plays toward my strengths, I'm happy. "
You said you were having trouble last year, how do you explain that?
"It is simple. As I said, last season was more about the forwards. The games were very closed up, it was really forwards-forwards. This season is a little more open. And when it's more open, it gives everyone more chances. And it helps me. "
With this style of play, you take more pleasure?
"It's always about what makes you good. When the game is unstructured, fast, it goes along with the way i play. When I was younger, I have always playing quick and fast games. The game is coming more towards the game I play. So I'm happy. "
How do you feel here in Grenoble?
"The adaptation is better. This year, I am travelling more, I am travelling more in Europe, in Grenoble and in the rest of France. I even took the little train in Grenoble. Last year, I was more conservative, I was in the house a lot. This year, just open and enjoy. And this also happen on the field. I am waiting for winter to go up to Chamrousse. "
What about Saturday's final?
"I back the Boks. I told the guys in the locker room that if the All Blacks lose, the Boks will win the World Cup. I am gonna stay strong and believe that! And I hope they will put it through! "
