Clement Ancely extends his contract with FCG until 2023
This monday, Clément Ancely extended his contract with the FCG until June 2023. Arrived last season from Massy, the back-rower quickly made its way into the "Rouge & Bleu" squad and has become its captain this season.
After playing 20 matches with Grenoble last season (9 starts in Top 14), the Biterrois has taken on a new dimension this year by setting up 10 starts out of a possible 12, and scoring two tries (against Colomiers and on the Provence Rugby pitch).
This new long-term contract reflects the mutual trust between the Club and its player.
Clément Ancely: "I arrived here last year and I quickly settle myself within the team. I was given a lot of confidence last season and since the beginning of this season. I have chosen to extend for three seasons thanks to the long-term project set up in this Club, with the local players, the youngsters. I hope to get back to the Top 14 as soon as possible. »
