After their home win over Soyaux Angoulême, FCG made two fearsome journeys to Beziers and Nevers to finish the block.
After a good start to the season Béziers lost a little bit of ground and remains on 3 consecutive defeats. The last one in Colomiers (25-0) after a big home defeat against Nevers is certainly not to reassure the Grenoble inhabitants. No doubt that the Biterrois will be keen to put the church back in the centre of the village and prove to their supporters that they still intend to join the fight for the finals. No need to be a fine strategist to understand that for this the week will probably have been focused on the fight, pride and a great performance against Grenoble. So the FCG knows exactly where it is putting its feet and what awaits it. However, the "Red & Blue" have no margin to stay in the rhythm of Perpignan and Colomiers who both have 5 consecutive victories. Impasse forbidden! It will therefore be necessary to take points between now and the end of January to stay in contact.
