Weekly tests carried out as part of the health protocol put in place by the LNR have revealed the presence of a Covid 19 positive player in our squad.
FC Grenoble Rugby is in contact with the ARS and is working closely with the medical commission of the Ligue Nationale de Rugby to apply the rules to be followed in such a situation.
The FCG has always placed the health of its players and employees as a top priority. New PCR tests have been carried out today for the entire professional group. In the meantime the player has been placed in quarantine and collective training is suspended.
The preparation match against Valencia-Romans scheduled for Friday in Valencia is cancelled. The Club is waiting for the LNR medical commission to give its opinion on the friendly game against Oyonnax at the Stade Lesdiguières next week.
We are obviously thinking of the player, we wish him an excellent and quick recovery and we will be very attentive to his support.
We would like to point out that this player was not part of last Friday's trip to Hyères for the friendly game against Toulon.
