Sustainable Development Week: nutrition day

The Sustainable Development Week continues at FCG!

This 2nd day deals with the theme: NUTRITION.

For several months now, the club's employees, volunteers and major groups have had the opportunity to order baskets of fruit, vegetables and meat. Organic, local, seasonal!

The association "Les jardins du Prado" is an organic market garden for the integration of young people and adults through economic activity (association recognised as being of public utility, member of the Cocagne network), located in Bressieux (38870).

Jérôme Rey, left pillar of the FCG, is also a breeder in Saint-Vital (73460).
The beef comes from a traditional & authentic breeding: guaranteed traceability (animals born and raised on the farm), healthy food (animals fed with cereals grown and processed on the farm), incomparable quality (meat from Blondes d'Aquitaine and Charolais cattle), traditional breeding (calves raised under the mother).

This afternoon, the trainees of the Training Centre and the Amazons are going to the Jardins du Prado to discover the world of market gardening and to participate in discovery, culture and cooking workshops. A good way to introduce these young adults to "good food" and to discover simple recipes with local, fresh, organic and seasonal products!

The challenge of the day: to reproduce the recipe proposed by the Jardins du Prado, a recipe that will be made by the young "Rouge & Bleu" this afternoon.
