The Amazons' Federal 1 pool for the coming season

  • Amazones

The competition is divided into 2 phases:
The qualifying phases: the competition brings together 36 clubs, i.e. 4 pools of 9 teams divided by geographical criteria.
The final phases: beginning of these phases in ¼ final

The novelty this season: the final phase of the "reserve" teams of the Elite 1 clubs will be separated from that of the "one" teams. The two best ranked "reserve" teams in each pool at the end of the qualifying phase will qualify for the final phase of the Challenge Fédéral for "reserve" teams, which will start in the ¼ final. The winner of the final will win the Challenge Fédéral des équipes " réserve ", which is an honorary title and not a title of French champion.

The two best ranked "one" teams in each pool at the end of the qualifying phase will qualify for the final phase, which will begin in the ¼ final. At the end of this final phase, the French champion of Fédérale 1 Féminine will be promoted to Elite 2 Féminine.

Creation of the Elite 1 Women's "reserve" team championship:
At the end of the 2021/2022 season, the 12 reserve teams of the clubs maintained in Elite 1 Féminine will no longer play in the Fédérale 1 Féminine championship, but in a championship reserved for the reserve teams of the associations engaged in Elite 1 Féminine for the 2022/2023 season.
