Like all the FCG teams, the Amazons will wear pink socks during the games throughout the month of October to show their support for the Pink October campaign and the fight against female cancers.
In addition to this, the women will wear Venus shirts during the warm-up (artistic action to raise awareness of the fight against breast cancer). The Amazons have had a close relationship with Venus artists such as Xavier Madoré for several seasons, so it was only natural that they decided to give visibility to this cause via the Venus organisation.
Since 2018, the Amazons are sponsors of the Centre de Cancérologie de la Femme of the CHU Grenoble Alpes, as such the CCF (as well as Venus) is invited to the SOLIDARITY village which will be held on the west square before the FCG-Béziers match on 15.10 at 7.15 pm. This SOLIDARITY village marks the launch of the HEALTH theme of the Club's CSR strategy. In addition, the Amazons will be present on the CCF stand at the Grenoble Fair on 30.10.21.
In addition to these exchange and visibility actions, an agreement will be signed between the CCF and the FCG Amazones to propose physical activities for the nursing staff and then for the patients of the centre!
They will also take part in a rugby initiation in V organised as part of the women's sports day and support for the pink October campaign by the Sassenage town hall.
