The U18 Amazons who hosted Montpellier this weekend confirmed brilliantly the first results of the season.
The possession of the ball and the occupation of the field are red and blue at the beginning of the match but the girls do not concretize the numerous favorable situations.
In the 16th minute, Grenoble finally managed to cross the line for the first time. A second try allows them to increase their lead before half-time. (12/3)
At the beginning of the second half, a 3rd try allows the team to obtain a bonus point which will be valiantly defended at the end of the match thanks to an unbeatable defence against the increasing pressure of Montpellier.
Congratulations to the girls for this beautiful 19/3 victory against a strong place of the French women's rugby.
Espoirs
For this 4th day of championship, the "Rouge & Bleu" travelled to Colomiers. Grenoble were the first to score a try with Benjamin Reynier and Hugo Pandolfo. The Columérins scored their first points shortly afterwards following a foul by the Isérois, they scored a try just before the break and took the lead on the scoreboard (half-time score 10-7). The Hauts-Garonnais took control of the match and scored two converted tries at the 46th and 52nd. Luca Di Savatore scored another try for Grenoble, but it was not enough to make up for the deficit, final score : 22 - 14
