Nathan Arnaud, head coach of the Fédérale 1 team, gives us a review of this weekend's match against Toulon:
"We had a great start to the game, 21-0 after 20 minutes.
Then we were punished a lot (3 cards per team, the referee was hot).
A game made "easy" by the players who scored 5 tries in the first half and then 2 in the second half, valiantly defending our goal line to avoid conceding tries in the weaker moments.
A second half marred by many fouls and little rhythm.
Satisfied with the result (+5 points, important for the race to the finals) but we expect better in terms of content.
This Sunday's game against GUC will be crucial.

Elite 1
Léo Brissaud, head coach of the Elite 1 team, tells us about yesterday's game against Toulouse:
"We didn't get into the game, we watched them play for 30 minutes. We conceded 4 tries in 20 minutes.
After that, we got back into the game, we were able to compete in the fight and put them in trouble in our strong moments.
In the second half we took the lead in the scrum, but we let them score too quickly.
In summary, a logical score after a game that was too inconsistent against a very good Stade Toulousain team. We continue to progress in the game, but we need to be more consistent over a whole match to compete with this kind of team.

Hopefuls
In spite of an opening score by Grenoble with a penalty in the 2nd minute of the match, Bordeaux imposed an intense match by scoring 4 converted tries in the 1st half. Half time score : 28 - 12. Grenoble scored the only "Red & Blue" try of the match at the end of the match (76th minute), final score 45 -17.
