Postponed match of the 1st day of the play-off & victory of the young Grenoblois in Colomiers 17-38 with the offensive bonus point. This victory allows the "Red & Blue" to finish 1st in the group before the last game of the championship. At the end of the play-off phase, the 2 best teams of each pool are qualified for the ¼ finals of the French Alamercery championship! To be continued ...

Grenoble lost to Aix en Provence in a match without tries and with some clumsiness on both sides, final score : 03 - 09.

After 2 years without this national tournament, the FCG association was able to organise the Challenge Alberto again. More than 2000 spectators and 1000 players attended the event!

Amazons U18
The Grenoble team imposed the game from the start and for the first quarter of an hour dominated the territory without scoring. Their opponents only penetrated the "Red & Blue" half of the field a few times. The Iséroises were not rewarded for their efforts despite 2 disallowed tries.
Around the 30th, a first try on a breakthrough, followed by a second try from Clémence Berthet on the wing on a tightrope action. After that, the Parisians rebelled but were unable to break through the Grenoble defence.
Half-time, 15 to 0.
The second half was a one-way affair, with Grenoble controlling the game from start to finish and winning 32-0.
Fédérale 1
Nathan Arnaud, head coach of the Fédérale 1 team, tells us about this new victory and the qualification of his team for the final stages:
"Another rainy match for us (again).
Very good management of the weather conditions in the first half which allowed us to adapt our strategy and to keep the score at half-time: 19 - 0
The second half was played in the sunshine which made its appearance.
A good start but a little slackening which allows Toulon to come back to 10 points : 24 - 14
The end of the game was controlled to get the offensive bonus point.
A last game which closes an incredible championship phase, undefeated on a full season, now it's time to go on... "
Elite 1
Léo Brissaud, head coach of the Elite 1 team, looks back on the last game of the championship against Bobigny
"We had trouble getting into the game straight away and we conceded a try very quickly. As soon as we started to fight, and played a bit more on our feet, we got back into the game. We were in front at half-time with two tries from Julia Turc's maul.
The beginning of the second half is complicated, we go completely through the first 20 minutes. We suffer on the possession and the occupation. A try from Océane Buisson allows us to get back into the game and to go back in front. Finally, we mismanaged the end of the game and we took an interception on the last action which made us go to 9 points, final score: 31-22.
Despite this defeat, the Amazons Elite 1 are qualified for the finals with a 3rd place in the group! Direction Bordeaux for the ¼ final this Sunday.
