5 which allows us to enter the tournament.
Second game mastered and dominated against the VRDR.

First of pool of the morning thus qualified to play the high plateau in the afternoon.
In the afternoon, the first game against the Beaurepaire/Côte Saint-André team was won with a score of 08-17. As in the morning, the first game was complicated after the lunch break. Last game of the day, "a final" against Villefranche to win the challenge.
A match with a lot of intensity on both sides, and a try that we took on the first action of the match. We don't give up and we come back to the score at half time (5 -5). The second half is very tense, it can go either way at any time. Last action of the game, we play a penalty quickly on our 22m, we go up 80m of ground and we obtain a new penalty with 5m of the opposite en-goal. We play it fast and score. Victory 10-5.

Gaudermen
Francois Martine, comes back with us on the qualification of the Gaudermen in ¼ final!
"Victory for the Cadet Gaudermen, who qualified brilliantly for the quarter-finals against a physically impressive CA Brive, on the field of Cournon d'Auvergne 29-30 (MT 08 - 10)
After a fantastic start against the wind, the Isérois imposed their influence on the match to lead by 2 points at the break.
As soon as the match resumed, the little yellows increased their lead with 2 penalties and 1 converted try, thinking that they would be safe from a Briviste comeback (08 - 23).
The Isérois hooker was yellow-carded with 20 minutes to go, allowing the Corréziens to come back to the score after a converted try. Galvanised, the Brivistes did it again shortly afterwards to come back to a small point.
The last 10 minutes were intense, neither team wanting to give up.
The Isérois managed to cross the line with 3 minutes to go, thus regaining a breath of oxygen.
In a last gasp, the Brivistes replied in the last minute of play to come within a point. The referee announced the last action during which the "black and white" tried to do everything possible, putting the nerves of the Isérois on edge. A final penalty allowed CD 38 to clear in touch to validate the match.
The coaches, Yohan, Timmy and Antonin can be proud of their players who continue their great adventure by facing Racing next weekend in the ¼ final.
Referee Thomas Balaire (Ligue AURA)
For the CD 38
3 tries: Gaget 30th, Robin 46th and Morales 67th
3 conversions: Morales 30th, 46th and 67th
3 penalties: Morales 15th, 38th and 43rd "

Alamercery
Like their elders, the young Isérois met Bordeaux for the ¼ final.
The first half was poor in points, but still in favour of Bordeaux, score half-time 3-6.
After the break, UBB scored a try, followed by an exchange of penalties (1 validated on each side). Bordeaux score again twice (24-6). The young Isérois don't give up and manage to break through the Bordeaux defence on a last action: final score 24 - 13.
The Alamercery close the 2021/2022 season with this defeat in the ¼ final.

Crabos
Jo Drogo, leader of the Crabos team, tells us about this ¼ final won by forceps!
"A tough match, which started with a lot of feverishness on our part, which led to mistakes. We were soon 8-0 down with a penalty and a try.
We came back with two penalties from Burgos but UBB scored another penalty before half time. Score 6-11.
Second period which starts with a penalty from Bordeaux.
Grenoble wake up thanks to a break through the middle of the field by Massa, who scores a try which is converted by Burgos. We come back to 1 point of our opponents 13-14.
A new penalty from UBB at the 56th minute, the Bordeaux team goes ahead (13-17), a short-lived lead! Indeed, 2 minutes later, a ball arrives on Boullier 15 meters from the goal, he charges in front of 2 players and receives the support of the forward pack and flattens in the corner! 18-17 !
Grenoble concede 2 penalties to Bordeaux, too far away to be attempted, the opponents of the day do not score any more points.
Victory by one point for our young "Red & Blue" ! See you on 05.06 for the ½ final against Toulouse "

Amazons FED1
Nathan Arnaud, head coach of the Fédérale 1 team, looks back on this ½ Final against Toulouse:
"The match started perfectly, as planned: kick-off reception, footwork, ball scratched, penalty, touch, try after one minute of play, perfect start.
Unfortunately Virginie is injured at the try, so we reorganise the hinge
Then Toulouse set up their game, a good forward pack against whom we manage to compete, a line of 3/4 with very good individualities which will succeed in crossing clearly 2 times which will bring them to 2 tries.
We break our teeth on several occasions on the defence, even in front of their goal, which does not allow us to leave their house with points.
Half time 15-5, we are in the game
The second half starts in a much more encouraging way, we finally manage to put in place what we had planned, play in the opposite direction, we collect penalties, we finally manage to cross the Toulousian line, we get back to the score.
Unfortunately, they got the upper hand in a few scrums, which allowed them to score some precious points.
A try on the counter allows us to get back on the scoreboard and to believe again with 4 minutes to go... Scenarios like this are familiar, we have lived through them all season, the girls still believe and play, until crossing for the umpteenth time inside the number 10.
A huge return from their winger makes us lose control of the ball, which bounces on the ground, so they manage as best as they can to get out of the way, a last unsuccessful attempt as the ball goes out in touch on our last playtime...
We win the second half 17-13 but we were not able to reduce the gap sufficiently.
Defeat 28 - 22, our ambitions and our dream collapses to 6 points of the best team we met this season
Despite all this, the season achieved is incredible, undefeated so far, a team that has shown all the strength that resides in this group, bonds created and a history engraved in the hearts of each and everyone.
As I told them, the season is not over, we will still enjoy, celebrate this extraordinary season (who would have thought, in September, that Grenoble would go through an undefeated season until the semi-finals)
And as they say so well: "Once an Amazon, always an Amazon Heart".
