PILLAR 3: SPORT AND HEALTH INTERVENTION
This season, the FFR launched its Club Engagé label in order to promote the societal actions of clubs. The FCG is honoured to be one of the first clubs to receive this label!
To obtain the label, clubs must :
- Develop the practice for seniors, teenagers or children
- Have a written club project
- Value their volunteers
- Develop for at least 2 years an action/project in the 5 pillars proposed:
We present to you today the 2nd pillar of the label and the associated FCG project:
HEALTH - Intervention sport health
One of the projects of the FCG Endowment Fund is to promote physical and sports activities and to encourage as many people as possible to practise sport, to move away from the image of "sport as a way of surpassing oneself" towards "well-being" practices and active mobility for all.
In this sense, the Endowment Fund has made a sports educator available to 2 social structures:
- 5 sessions for 5 beneficiaries of the Grenoble Emergency Accommodation and Social Reinsertion Centre
- And 10 sessions for 25 beneficiaries & employees of the Jardins du Prado (professional integration project)
In addition, the Endowment Fund provided a qualified instructor for the Rugby à V team (25 members, including 4 APA -> adapted sport members). Rugby à V is a non-contact leisure sport, characterised by "two-handed touch". It is a mixed sport, open to all!
It is a fun activity, based on avoidance, which by the absence of tackles and purple physical contact, is suitable for a wide audience.
Stay tuned to discover the other pillars!
