This evening, as part of the fight against breast cancer, but also against all cancers, we welcome the Grenoble Association for Help and Research in Oncology, AGARO, represented by Professor Mireille MOUSSEAU, oncologist at the Grenoble University Hospital.
AGARO offers free complementary therapies to all cancer patients in the Grenoble area, which improve the quality of life of patients by working on the effects of the disease and treatments. These gentle therapies are non-medicinal and have a truly beneficial effect on patients as a complement to their medical treatment.
AGARO also offers a Parent'hèse space that accompanies children who have a sick parent, with follow-up by an art therapist. It is the Parent'hèse space that won the 2022 FCG Endowment Fund prize in the health category. Antoine, who is accompanying Professor MOUSSEAU, is one of these children, who has been followed for more than two years by Parent'Hèse for his mother's illness.
Many members of the association, invited by the FCG, are present this evening and are at your disposal to discuss about AGARO, you will notice them by their pink clothes and their AGARO badge.
