PILLAR 5: ECOLOGICAL TRANSITION
This season, the FFR launched its Club Engagé label in order to promote the societal actions of clubs. The FCG is honoured to be one of the first clubs to receive this label!
To obtain the label, clubs must :
- Develop the practice for seniors, teenagers or children
- Have a written club project
- Value their volunteers
- Develop for at least 2 years an action/project in the 5 pillars proposed
We present to you today the 5th pillar of the label and the associated FCG project:
ECOLOGICAL TRANSITION: SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT WEEK
This year, the Club organised the 2nd edition of the Sustainable Development Week as part of its CSR policy.
This event, labeled Grenoble Green Capital, aims to raise awareness of the FCG community and the general public to various themes
of sustainable development. This season, several workshops and activities were organised throughout the week for the Club's various audiences (employees, volunteers, players, supporters, partners, members, parents and families).
MONDAY 02 MAY: Climate Fresco workshop for FCG interns
WEDNESDAY 03TH MAY: Discovery of market gardening at the Jardins du Prado, a social integration project in Bressieux, a moment of exchange and sharing between the players of the Training Centre and the Amazons with the public in social integration at the Jardins du Prado.
WEDNESDAY 04TH MAY: 3 activities proposed at the Lesdiguières Stadium:
1) 12pm-6pm: Recycling village with 3 types of collection: collection of sports equipment for the club's ressourcerie; collection of mobile phones as part of the recycling campaign for the 2023 World Cup in order to make the medals for the competition; and collection of corks in conjunction with the association Cœur2bouchons to support projects for people with disabilities. The city's waste sorting messengers will set up activities on waste sorting.
2) 12.00-18.00: Ressourcerie FCG: opening of the ressourcerie containing new and second-hand sports articles for sports practice
3) 18h-19h: Conference "Let's not be put off by the climate: let's take action"; conference organised by the Agence Locale de l'Energie et du Climat de Grenoble, accessible to all, to understand the specificities of the climate problems of the metropolis, to question our individual practices and to exchange on concrete solutions adapted to everyone.
THURSDAY 05TH MAY: Participation in the Grenoble European Green Capital Partners' Committee
FRIDAY 06 MAY : Climate Fresco workshop - solutions version - for FCG interns
SATURDAY 07 MAY : 10am-12pm : Operation waste collection at Lesdiguières Stadium
SUNDAY 08 MAY: Alberto Tournament - implementation of the eco-event pack during the club's biggest youth tournament.
Following the success of the 1st editions, the Club will organize again the week of the sustainable development from 04.06 to 11.06, see you in June to discover the new animations which await you!
