Amazons U18
With the withdrawal of Bourgoin and Toulon, the young "Red & Blue" had not had the opportunity to play again for a month! This friendly match against LOU allowed the staff to review the whole squad. The 2 teams met under a beautiful sun on the annex of the Lesdiguières stadium. The first half was in favour of Lyon who accelerated the game several times and scored 2 tries. The home team camped in the LOU camp for long minutes during the second half, but unfortunately this was not enough for the Amazons to catch up and win, final score 21-12.
Espoirs
Grenoble travel to Colomiers for the 6th day. The "Red & Blue" have some difficulties to play against a strong wind in the first half. It was not until the end of the first half that the Grenoble team broke the deadlock with a penalty, the score at half-time being 13-3.
It is again Colomiers who opens the score in the 2nd half with a penalty and a converted try. Grenoble scored the only try of the match 10 minutes before the end of regulation time. The home side finished with a penalty at the final whistle, the final score 26-10.

Amazons Reserve
The Amazons start the match with the wind against them. From the start, the Lyon team scored a try in the first half following a touch, then followed up with a less academic try on a kick-off, with a poor defence from Grenoble.
The locals keep the "Red & Blue" in their camp throughout the first half by taking advantage of the wind at their backs to make a work of occupation at the foot. Score at half-time : 12 - 0
The Amazons start the second half strongly with a try that puts them back in the game. Unfortunately, Grenoble did not take advantage of the wind in their favour to play on foot and made a few errors of hand, which allowed Lyon to score.
A last try in the middle of the second half brings the score back to 17-10, but unfortunately the score will not move any further.
Tries: Lison Argiodos, Tess Zoropogui
A word from Nathan Arnaud, head coach:
"Overall, we dominated in conquest with a huge scrum, some effective carry balls, we lacked the realism and management of the weather conditions to win.
It's encouraging to get a second defensive bonus point away from home, but it's a shame considering the way the game went, as we deserved to win as much as Lyon did.
