The FCG was awarded the title of Club of the Month by the Grenoble Municipal Sports Office for its commitment to ecological transition.
Indeed, the FCG is working on various aspects of ecological transition such as soft mobility, waste (sorting, recycling, reduction of single-use plastics) or consumption through short circuits.
Over the last few years, the number of actions has increased in order to raise awareness among the general public and to move towards a more sustainable club: recycling centre, mobility plan, FCG gourds, fruit and vegetable baskets, sustainable development week, eco-event charter, etc.
The FCG is also committed to the OMS by participating in the Sport & Ecological Transition workshops with the other Grenoble clubs to work on improving the environmental impact of our practices.
Pierre Arnaud, president of the OMS, presented the award to Jean-Pierre Henry, vice-president of the FCG association, in the presence of members of the FCG and the supporters' clubs Les Alpins and Les Mammouths.
