The young Grenoble players faced Perpignan for this new day of Elite Crabos championship.
The game kicked off at 2pm on the Bachelard pitch.
The first half is clearly in favour of the " Red & Blue ", despite a yellow card, they score 2 tries (1 converted) and a penalty, while the opponents cannot score.

As soon as they return to the field, Grenoble score again. The game then slows down, and it is not until the 57th minute that Perpignan unblocks the counter to finish on a score of 20-7.

After several weeks without a match and a match cancelled late last week against ASM Romagnat, the young Amazons had a strong motivation to win at home for the first match of 2023 !
It's done against Oyonnax, with 4 tries ! The young "Red & Blue" performed well, unfortunately, they gave up the bonus point at the end of the game.

The home side opened the scoring in the 7th minute with a try, followed by a second a few minutes later. Two penalties allowed the " Red & Blue " to keep their lead. A new converted try at the 30' for the Bordelaises widen the gap. 2 minutes later it's the Amazons' turn to finally cross the goal line, which they do again at the end of the 1st half, which allows them to start the 2nd half more serenely.

It is again the Bordeaux team that scores the first try with a converted try at the 53', then again at the 61'. The Amazons don't give up and score a converted try at the 64', but the Bordelais give back blow for blow and score again at the 71'. The Amazons' try at the very end of the game (75') was not enough to catch up with the Bordelaises on the scoreboard.

From the beginning of the match, against the wind, Grenoble were subjected to the power, speed and tactical accuracy of their opponents, who allowed them to quickly take the lead by scoring two tries. At the 10th minute, after a penalty-touch played at the 22 meters, a Toulon player extracts himself from the maul and goes to score without opposition. Then, in the 21st minute, it was a long series of rucks from 5 metres out which ended with a breakthrough after the game had been transformed (14 to 6 at the 22nd minute).
At the beginning of the second half, the young Grenoble players, despite their efforts, were unable to make several passes and breakthroughs, notably because of lost balls which could have been decisive.
On the contrary, it was the Toulon team that scored in the 47th minute: after a touch from 10 metres, the maul advanced 20 metres and, after a breakthrough in the centre, the try was scored wide on the opposite side (21 to 6 in the 48th minute).
Thereafter, the FCG U23s continued to put up a courageous fight against the opposing initiatives, but conceded three more tries without being able to score a single one: the final score (42-6) was harsh but the defeat was indisputable.
