This weekend, the young 'Rouge & Bleu' team hosted Montpellier and Oyonnax in friendly matches at the Stade Beauvallet in Seyssins. The first match was a tense affair against Montpellier, with a narrow 5-0 victory. The second match saw our players break free with a fine 21-0 victory.
Next game: 30.09 at VRDR for the 1st league match.
Crabos
The young 'Rouge & Bleu' met their Montpellier counterparts in a friendly match. The match took place in perfect conditions at the Beauvallet stadium in Seyssins.
Grenoble got off to an ideal start, putting many of their chances away against an outmatched Montpellier side. The Isérois soon took a 19-0 lead, and the staff made a number of changes, allowing everyone to take to the pitch. The Héraultais took advantage of the situation to get back into the game before half-time.
Half-time score: 19-7
Back on the pitch, the face of the match changed completely, with the "Red & Blue" committing numerous fouls, which gave their opponents renewed confidence!
In the 69th minute, Montpellier took the lead with a converted try. It was only after a lot of stoppage time that Grenoble scored a try and regained the lead.
Final score: 29-26

Amazons U18
Seven weekend for Grenoble's youngsters at Brive.
The Rouge & Bleu finished 3rd in their group behind Stade Rennais and Colomiers. Unfortunately, they lost in the quarter-finals 22-36 to Stade Bordelais.
After beating Colomiers 19-7 and losing to Blagnac 24-14, the Iséroises finished 5th! It was a great day and a fine performance by the young Amazons.

Espoirs
The Isérois hosted their neighbours from VRDR for a friendly match at the Fontaine club ground. The FCG Espoirs won 31-21 in their first match of the season.
The next fixture is on 12.11 at Colomiers for the 1st day of the championship.
