A look back at Friends Club Day
For the 3rd consecutive season, the FCG is a "Club Ami de l'UNICEF".
The "Club Ami de l'UNICEF" scheme brings together a network of sports clubs that are committed, under the aegis of the International Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC), to taking initiatives and undertaking actions in favour of children's rights.
FCG is part of this community, along with BDL and GF38.
BACK TO : UNICEF Friends Club Day.
To round off a great year of partnership, with numerous projects carried out throughout the season, the BDL, GF38, FCG and UNICEF organised a magnificent day at the Stade Lesdiguières.
FCG hosted the UNICEF Club Friends event on Tuesday 16 May at the Stade Lesdiguières! Around a hundred children from CE2, CM1 and CM2 classes took part in the UNICEF project on the theme of the right to sport, in collaboration with Grenoble's 3 professional clubs: FCG, GF38 and Les Bruleurs de loups. The day's activities followed talks given by professional players in the classroom. On the FCG side, Karim Qadiri, Antonin Berruyer, Talalelei Gray and Julien Farnoux volunteered to give talks in local schools.
On 16 May, the children had the opportunity to present their projects around this theme to other classes and to learn about the 3 sports of rugby, football and ice hockey from professional players. During the day, we also welcomed Alexandre Giroud, fresh pilot for the French national team.
