The first day of the championship was played in Valencia against VRDR under a summer sun.
The first half was a tense affair, with the 'Red & Blue' unable to let their collective heads drop and a number of small fouls preventing the score from changing. The half-time whistle sounded with the score at 10-12. In the second half, the Isérois showed more commitment and application to the game, scoring 4 tries and taking no extra points. A 10-38 bonus-point victory with 6 tries!

Grenoble's youngsters played host to their Montpellier counterparts on the first day of the championship at the Stade Lesdiguières.
The match went off without a hitch, with the Red & Blues scoring 7 tries in the process!

The first day of the championship was played in Valence against VRDR.
The "Rouge & Bleu" quickly took the lead thanks to a try from Brand Tristan, but let their hosts back into the game with 2 penalties. Grenoble's youngsters went back in front at the 23rd minute with a try from Melvyn RATES, but at the half-time whistle a new penalty allowed VRDR to pull level (9-10).
The second half kicked off with another penalty for VRDR, who went back in front. Mael Navizet scored a penalty, which was immediately answered by VRDR. (15-13)
In the 60th minute, Emile BINET flattened the ball again in the Valentinois try-line and Rates followed up with a penalty (15-23). With 3 minutes to go, VRDR scored a converted try to pull within 22-23, but Grenoble took control of the ball and won their first match on the razor's edge.

Amazones Elite
Léo Brisaud, head coach of the Amazones Elite 1, talks to us about their 1st home match against Bobigny:
"Our first home match was played in ideal conditions. The team put in a good performance, particularly offensively, where we dominated possession and possession, but we didn't manage to score more.
We were also pretty satisfied defensively, as we wanted to get back on track compared to last weekend, and it was pretty positive.
The week's rest will do us good after the long weeks of intense pre-season training!
