Veronique Dumond, director of the Isère branch of the Ligue contre le Cancer (League against Cancer), came to spend an evening raising awareness with the Amazones. After a presentation on the association's activities, Veronique explained the importance of self-palpation and the key steps to be taken to monitor breast health and detect any signs of breast cancer at an early stage.
After the theory, it was time for practice, using Olympe: a woman's bust showing various abnormalities. The challenge is to detect all the anomalies by sight and touch.
Several Amazons took part in the game and were able to pick up some valuable tips for the future!
Many thanks to Véronique for her presence and advice.
