FCG played in Oyonnax its second preseason game
As last week, against the LOU, the FCG faced a club of Top 14. As last week, the "Rouge & Bleu" presented a mixed composition, between old, young and recruits.
But, unlike last week, the Grenoblois did not miss the beginning game. They are the ones who first stand out, scoring a first try by Benoît Jasmin (0-7). After the equalizer of Oyonnax (7-7), the FCG takes the advantage thanks to a try of Etienne Dussartre, another recruit of the summer (7-14). Unfortunately, the Oyomen equalize almost in stride and take the lead before half-time (21-14).
In the second period, the FCG equalized quickly thanks to a power try by Mickaël Capelli (21-21). Again, the top-Bugey players quickly score behind (28-21), before entering a final try at the very end of the game (33-21).
As against the LOU, the FCG showed a good resistance against a team promoted in Top 14. The last game of the pre-season Grenoble will be held next Thursday at the Stade Lesdiguières, against Provence Rugby, resident of Federal 1 .
